The Technical University of Berlin relies on OpenProject for the planning and organization of the laboratory.

The junior research group of Dr.-Ing. Ralph Krähnert under the direction of Prof. Dr. Peter Strasser in the field of electrochemistry is researching catalysts for the more efficient production of hydrogen and chlorine. OpenProject is used for the organization in the laboratory and for the planning of master theses.

By using OpenProject in our research group we are much better organized and structured, especially for the organization of the laboratory.

We have all tasks in the lab transparent and clearly arranged at a glance. Orders are initiated in time and less is forgotten - this means less personal stress for those involved and a smooth flow of our research projects

A team of 30 people works at the IAT with OpenProject:
technologists, sports scientists and sports physicians.

The research group at the TU Berlin investigates splitting of water for hydrogen production. The group is hierarchically structured with many interfaces and areas of responsibility. In the context of a company foundation, supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, the working group uses OpenProject.

OpenProject enables a high degree of transparency and speed in all organizational tasks for planning and coordinating the laboratory work ensure laboratory regulations. Does anything need to be installed? Which orders, such as chemicals, stirrers or vessels, need to be initiated?
Furthermore, the research group coordinates their master theses, which are researching water splitting in the field of electrochemistry, via OpenProject.
